Renault's graphics department has been let loose on the Trafic once again, with the French brand today revealing its latest Trafic Formula Edition.

Available in both short- and long-wheelbase guises, the Formula Edition is exclusively offered on higher-spec Trafic models with the 103kW twin-turbo diesel.

It brings dark cloth upholstery to the interior, along with a heated driver's seat, a 'premium' dashboard with an extra storage compartment, chrome surrounds on the instrument binnacle, gloss black trim on the side air vents, a leather-trimmed gear knob, and chrome speaker surrounds.

The standard equipment list also includes unique floor mats, a wide-view mirror, LED interior lighting, climate control, and keyless entry/start.

Renault has added a dealer-fit wooden floor for the cargo area, designed to act as an oil-resistant and hard-wearing workspace. Outside, the Formula Edition gets a sticker pack, new grille finishers, LED daytime running lights and black 17-inch alloy wheels.

Pricing for latest Formula Edition car starts at $41,490 before on-road costs for the short wheelbase and $43,490 before on-roads for the long wheelbase. That represents price increases of $3000 and $3500 respectively.
