2021 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo spied

Porsche's new wagon-aping Panamera has been snapped during testing, with a number of lighting changes inspired by the new 911.

The facelifted Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has been snapped in the open, wearing an updated rear inspired by the latest 911.

The devil really is in the detail with the Panamera Sport Turismo update. The front bumper is wearing camouflage, while the LED detailing in the headlights looks fake, potentially to hide the fact there's a new light signature coming on the new model.

Down back, the updated model wears a new light signature. Although they're still partially concealed, the new lights appear to have a similar design to those of the new 911 and Macan. There's an LED strip running across the bootlid, while the edges of the lights have a 3D sweep about them.

Porsche's latest badging conventions dictate the brand name will be spelled out in 3D script embedded in the light bar. Porsche isn't likely to make any major sheetmetal changes for 2021, although small tweaks to the bumpers are expected to be part of the facelift.

Although there aren't any pictures of the cabin, our spy photographer has predicted similarly small changes to Panamera's interior, with a new steering wheel the headline. Hey, we said they were small changes.

The Panamera's range of engines will likely get minor upgrades, with new petrol particulate filters designed to cut emissions.
