2011 Audi Q3 first spy photos

With car companies trying to run our spy photographers out of business by releasing official spy photos of their own, our guys on the ground have had to get creative to score this scoop of what we think is the new Audi Q3.

Spotted at Audi's headquarters, these are likely to be the first ever spy photos of the highly anticipated Volkswagen Tiguan-based baby off roader from Audi.

While the cover is doing a good job of keeping most of its design under wraps, it can't disguise the roof line which appears to be more sloping and sporty compared to the Tiguan.

The Audi Q3 is expected to make its official debut in 2011 as production begins at the SEAT-owned Martorell production facility in Spain.

The Audi Q3 will join its larger Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 siblings in Audi's growing SUV segment which will eventually include an even smaller Audi Q1 model.
