Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia edition

The Flying Spur Speed Arabia edition is fitted with a more powerful 449kW W12 that is capable of pulling the land yacht from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The non 'Speed' version has to make do with a slightly less powerful version of the W12 engine that pulls the car from 0-100km/h in only... 4.9 seconds.

Other features include some discreet exterior detailing touches such as 'Arabia' badges and some new wheels. Measuring in 20 inches for the 'Speed' model, the new wheels provide ample air flow to the braking surfaces.

Inside, the cars are fitted with ventilated seats that allow warm or cool air flow to be blown through onto the occupant, improving comfort. In the back there's veneered picnic tables in the front seat backs with vanity mirrors and plenty of bright chrome trimming details and deep-pile carpet.

Another interesting feature is the 'Valet Key'. This key allows the car to be driven like normal but the boot lid and glove box are locked and cannot be open with this key. But why not extend that technology? Perhaps produce a key that doesn't allow full throttle to be used in conjunction with a speed limiter.

Only 50 versions of these Arabia specials are on sale and have been specifically designed for the Middle East market where, Bentley says, 10 percent of its sales are made.
