2007 Dodge Nitro recalled

A problem with the windscreen wipers has forced more than 800 Dodge SUVs back to the shop.

Fiat Chrysler Australia has recalled the 2007 Dodge Nitro, over concerns about the windscreen wipers.

According to the company, the windscreen wipers might become inoperative. If they stop working while it's raining, drivers will be faced with reduced visibility, putting them at greater risk of an accident.

A total of 814 units are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Owners of the affected cars will be contacted by FCA, and advised to contact their nearest dealership for a free fix.

A copy of the original recall notice is attached here.
