Genesis Motors Australia has finally launched its first standalone ‘flagship studio’ in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall, coinciding with the Korean marque’s launch Down Under.

The brand’s global boss, Manfred Fitzgerald (above), flew out to cut the ribbon as Genesis opened the doors to its first dealership, with Melbourne and Brisbane sites to open in 2020.

“Genesis Studio Sydney ushers in a new exclusive way to buy and own a luxury car, providing customers with all-encompassing premium ownership experience,” Fitzgerald said.

The luxury arm is making bold claims about its plans to revolutionise the customer experience when it comes to buying cars, touting its ‘Genesis To You’ program which offers a variety of services like test drive home delivery, handover delivery for new purchases, along with concierge pick-up and delivery for scheduled servicing.

Speaking of servicing, all new Genesis vehicles get five years of free scheduled maintenance, along with a five year, unlimited kilometre warranty, five years of free 24/7 roadside assistance, five years of free map updates for navigation systems, a five-year subscription to Genesis Connected Services, and five years of the ‘Genesis To You’ valet program.

The Korean marque will also offer a complementary two-year subscription to its Genesis Lifestyle program, which incorporates Lifestyle Concierge and Global Privileges benefits for travel and medical assistance.

Genesis Studio Sydney is now showcasing the G70 and G80 sedans, with the brand’s first SUV to join the local range in 2020.

Pricing for the new G70 starts at $59,300 plus on-road costs, while the G80 (nee Hyundai Genesis) kicks off at $68,900 before ORCs.
