1938 AlfaRomeo 8C 2900B Lungo

The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event isn't a show about horsepower or speed and anything like that. It's a show about the most immaculate and original examples of some of the world's finest cars. The event takes place on the fairway of the eighteenth hole on the famous Pebble Beach golf course.

The judging panel ranks various cars on their attention to detail and level of complete originality. As a part of Alfa Romeo's birthday celebrations, there'll be a total of seven showroom condition Alfa classics on display, as well as many other privately-owned examples.

Included in the lineup, Alfa will display its very first car, the 1910 24 HP, along side a mint 1952 Disco Volante Spider. Also on display will be an 8C 2900 B Lungo. This light-blue classic from 1938 was the 11th Afla Romeo to win the Mille Miglia, thousand-mile race.

The complete list of Alfa-provided examples that will be on display consists of:

  • A.L.F.A. 24 HP, 1910
