Honda Civic +Luxe hatch on sale for $29,990 drive-away
Honda Australia has announced the Civic +Luxe hatchback, which gets a handful of upgrades to offer what it's describing as "affordable luxury".
Based on the VTi-S grade (from $24,490 before on-roads), the +Luxe gains leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, metallic or pearlescent paint as standard, along with '+Luxe' badging.
Carryover equipment from the base grade includes keyless entry with push-button start, front and rear parking sensors, LaneWatch blind-spot camera, 16-inch alloys, front fog-lights, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
However, unlike the recently updated sedan, the Civic +Luxe does without the Honda Sensing active safety suite, meaning features like AEB and lane-keeping assist aren't available.
Four colours will be offered with the special edition – Brilliant Sporty Blue, Lunar Silver, Modern Steel, and Platinum White.
"The Civic range continues to be a strong performer in the small car class, particularly with private buyers, while our limited edition models have proven to be popular with customers looking for a great deal," said Stephen Collins, director of Honda Australia.
"When lined up against its key competitors, the Civic +Luxe hatch offers a superior level of style and sophistication, while also delivering outstanding value for money to customers in the market for a new hatchback."
The Honda Civic +Luxe hatch goes on sale this month priced at $29,990 drive-away.
