Novitec Tridente tunes Maserati Quattroporte to 434kW

Novitec Tridente, the Maserati tuning division of Novitec Rosso, has released its performance package for the Maserati Quattroporte which boosts power to 434kW and 572Nm.

Available on both the Maserati Quattroporte S and Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S, the package adds a supercharger to the 4.7-litre V8 powerplant along with a custom intake manifold and larger injectors.

Coupled with a new engine calibration which balances power, longevity and compliance with strict Euro IV emission limits this overhaul proves to be a substantial improvement over the standard Quattroporte's 318kW and 490Nm.

Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the sprint from zero to 100km/h now takes just 4.6 seconds with 200km/h dealt with in just 14.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 295km/h - perfect for those unrestricted German autobahns surrounding Novitec's headquarters.

Novitec Tridente has developed a custom wheel and tyre combination for the Quattroporte with three-piece 21-inch wheels wrapped in 255/30 Pirelli P Zero high-performance rubber at the front and 295/30 on the rears.

The coilover suspension is continuously height-adjustable and features multiple settings for compression and rebound while the exterior is subtly completed with a clear-coated carbon-fibre rear fin spoiler.
