Infiniti Q50 Signature Edition headed to New York

Infiniti has released a single image of its new Q50 Signature Edition, due to be revealed in full at the 2019 New York motor show next week.

Part of the brand's 30th anniversary celebrations, the limited-edition Q50 sedan will feature "added luxury treatments" and "standard driver assistance features designed to empower the driver".

The Q50 Signature Edition is powered by a 300hp (224kW) version of the company's VR series 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, and gets a range of unique appointments to signify its commemorative purpose.

Headlining the spec sheet are 'Sport Design' front and rear fascias, 'Signature Edition' badging on the boot, special 19-inch bright finish alloy wheels, Kacchu aluminium interior trims and leather-appointed sports seats.

Further to the cosmetic and upholstery enhancements, the Q50 Signature Edition gets the full ProAssist Package as standard, which includes blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera system with Moving Object Detection, front and rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse autonomous emergency braking.

The Signature Edition also gets features like heated front seats and steering wheel, remote engine start, Infiniti InTouch Navigation with lane guidance and 3D building graphics, Infiniti InTouch Services like voice recognition for navigation functions, and SiriusXM Traffic updates (four-year licence).

Five colours will be available when the Signature Edition hits US dealers in May – Black Obsidian, Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Pure White, and Iridium Blue (pictured).

Also joining the Q50 Signature Edition on the Infiniti stand in New York will be the Q Inspiration concept revealed at last year's Detroit motor show.
