Performax Tickford F-150 revealed
Local conversion firm teams up with Australian tuning company to launch a new upgrade pack for US-sourced pickup, bringing a decent power bump, suspension tweaks and cosmetic enhancements.
Performax has revealed a special version of its Ford F-150 co-developed with tuning firm Tickford.
Headlining the upgrades are suspension, torque, and performance tweaks, including a new ECU tune that takes the 3.5-litre 'EcoBoost' turbocharged V6 to a beefy 354kW and 780Nm, up from the 'standard' 279kW/637Nm tune.
The F-150 Tickford Enhancement Pack all includes: a high-performance cat-back exhaust with twin 4.0-inch outlets, Roush Fox 2.0 springs and shocks, along with 20-inch Tickford wheels wrapped in 305/55 R20 BF Goodrich All-Terrain rubber.
There's also a tyre placard, Tickford side steps and numbered build plate, fender flares, and 'Tickford' decals for the bonnet, sides, and tailgate.
As for pricing, Performax has confirmed the Tickford Enhancement Pack can be fitted to any V6-powered F-150 model, retailing fo $24,500 including GST.
