2 April 2017: Road Trip USA – San Antonio to Dallas
In fact, the US is probably my favourite place to head off on a road trip anywhere in the world. The freeways are amazingly well planned if you need to get somewhere fast, the secondary roads are just as good and rarely choked with traffic, fuel is cheap, and there are so many places to stop for a meal, you’re almost spoiled for choice.
1 April 2016: Tesla Model 3 revealed, Australian launch due 2018
While premium large-car pricing and production limitations kept Model S availability to a relative few, the Model 3 has been developed with a focus on a broader manufacturing plan and a BMW 3 Series-rivalling US$35,000 starting point in the US market.
1 April 2015: Porsche Boxster Spyder revealed
Porsche says the Boxster Spyder has a 20mm lower ride height than the regular Boxster, and it has also added the bigger brakes from the 911 Carrera and made the steering even more direct.
The Spyder’s 3.8-litre six-cylinder boxer engine pumps out 276kW, which is 33kW more than the 3.4 in Boxster GTS, but 7kW less than the 3.8 used in the Cayman GT4.

The Hennessey Venom GT is the world's fastest production car available for public purchase, after registering a top speed over 427km/h.
2 April 2012: BMW i8 Spyder concept revealed
The BMW i8 Spyder has been revealed in concept form ahead of its public outing at the 2012 Beijing motor show later this month, previewing a roadster version that will follow its hybrid coupe twin into BMW showrooms.
