Skoda's global division has added a new option package to the Octavia range overseas in similar to the new Sportline variant revealed earlier this week, dubbed the 'Dynamic+ package'.
Where the Sportline is positioned as a standalone variant available with specific powertrains, the Dynamic+ pack is an add on for "most engine versions", and is a pretty clear indication of what's coming for the mildly-refreshed Octavia Sport in Australia.
Key changes include black accents for the grille, body kit, rear spoiler (liftback), and mirror caps, along with the choice of two standard 17-inch alloy wheel designs, along with a further two optional 18-inch choices.
The options you see pictured here are the 17-inch 'Trius' black alloys (pictured on the wagon) and the 18-inch 'Vega' design (pictured on the liftback) that is shared with the Sportline.
Inside, the Dynamic+ package adds sports seats, a black headliner, alloy sports pedals, and a sports leather steering wheel – there aren't any pictures with the related press release, though these new interior features seem to be in line with those of the Sportline.
Following the announcement of the Sportline for the European market earlier this week, Skoda's local communications boss, Paul Pottinger, confirmed the Octavia Sport variant offered in Australia will be getting changes similar to those offered in the Sportline and Dynamic+ package later this year.
"As of Week 19, 2019, we've prettied up the entry Octavia Sport so that it now has 18-inch 'Vega' brushed alloy wheels, black front spoiler, diffuser and grille frame, black headliner and new seat trim," he said.
No price changes will occur, with the Octavia Sport liftback starting at $33,390 before on-road costs.
