A team of student engineers from Skoda is prepping a load-lugging Kodiaq, but the car will remain a concept and nothing more.

The sixth student concept, which will be revealed to the world in June, will be a two-door take on the biggest Skoda SUV. Based on the concept sketch pictured here, it'll gain a set of chunkier tyres and black, off-road ready wheels, along with a distinctive two-door design.

Responsible for transforming the Kodiaq is a team of 35 vocational students, guided by a team of Skoda's full-time engineers and designers.

It's part of a project that's been running since 2014, and has seen concepts like the Fabia 'Funstar' ute, Rapid 'Atero' coupe and Karoq 'Sunroq' convertible developed.

The concept car will be revealed in June. Stay tuned for more in the lead up to launch.
