Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato sketched out

Just 19 coupes will built, and have been sold alongside an accompanying DB4 GT Zagato Continuation for an eye-watering $11 million plus change.

The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato has been teased in sketches, ahead of its production debut some time in 2020.

Based on the DBS Sugerleggera, the DBS GT Zagato has a unique body penned by Italian design house Zagato. Standout features include a full-width grille, muscular but smooth wheel arches, a long bonnet, wrap-around windscreen, and a chopped-down glasshouse and roof line.

The limited-edition model also features a new take on Zagato's double-bubble roof theme, which stretches from the back of the front windscreen to the rear deck, and replaces the rear windscreen entirely.

Aston Martin has not mentioned any details about the DBS GT Zagato's underlying mechanical package, so it will likely feature the Superleggera's 533kW/900Nm 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 and its eight-speed automatic.

Production of the DBS GT Zagato will be limited to just 19 cars, and all have been sold in a partnership with an accompanying DB4 GT Zagato Continuation.

Together the two cars are priced from £6 million ($11.3 million) before taxes.

Deliveries of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation begin in the final quarter of 2019, while the first DBS GT Zagato coupes will be delivered to customers from the last quarter of 2020.
