Tesla has finally rounded out its range, last week revealing the Model Y SUV in California.
With the promise of a 480km range from the range-topper, looks heavily inspired by the Model 3, and a pared-back interior, it's very much a continuation on the theme laid out by previous Tesla models.
Elon Musk says the car will launch in the USA around October 2020, so around 18 months from now. The delay is down to the difficulty in transitioning from prototype to series production, something the mass-market Model 3 has proven is extremely difficult.
Although it's not a full review, YouTube tech blogger – and notable Tesla fan and owner – Marques Brownlee was at the car's launch, and took a closer look. Here's what he had to say.
