2017-18 Audi A5 recalled
Non-compliant tyres have forced 27 cars back to the dealership.
Audi has issued a very specific recall, over concerns about the tyres on a handful of 2017-18 Audi A5s.
According to the company, cars fitted with a 20-inch wheel and Dunlop Sport Maxx RT Noise Shield 265/30 ZR20 tyres are at risk of 'tread chunking' in the 'top speed range permissible'.
The tyres don't fully comply with the approval test requirements of UN/ECE R30, which is used to certify the tyres for Australia.
A total of 27 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
Audi will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to arrange a free fix with their nearest dealership.
