2018-19 Porsche Cayenne recalled
Just under 200 Cayennes are being called back to the dealership for a software fix.
Porsche has recalled the 2018-19 Cayenne, over concerns about an issue with the brake wear warning light.
According to the company, a problem with the car's software could mean the red brake wear warning light won't be illuminated continuously when the brake pads are worn. Only a yellow message, which can be dismissed, will be shown instead.
If the message is ignored for too long, drivers could drive with worn out brake pads, leading to a higher risk of accident.
A total of 188 cars are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
Porsche will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to get in touch with their nearest dealership for a free fix.
