CarAdvice on YourMoney, 13 March 2019: What’s on this week’s show?

CarAdvice airs Wednesdays at 7:30pm AEDT on free-to-air channel 95 and Foxtel channel 601.

On this week's episode of CarAdvice, Trent Nikolic and Paul Maric talk about Takata airbags, discuss electric vehicles, and sink their teeth into a conversation about brand loyalty.

First up, New South Wales motorists who fail to have their Takata airbag inflators replaced face the risk of having their registration cancelled, as the state government looks for ways to make people fix their faulty inflators.

Fiat has announced the retro-themed 500 '58 Spiaggina will be coming to Australia, priced from $25,990 before on-road costs.

And the factory previously used to build the Ford Falcon will be repurposed to build wind turbines, as part of an investment worth around $3.5 million.

Moving on...

Catch our review of Australia's cheapest electric vehicle, the Hyundai Ioniq Electric, which offers 230km of range under the longer, more demanding WLTP test cycle. We also review the BMW X2 sDrive 20i, a front-drive SUV with a focus on style. Does it hit the mark?

The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring and Nissan GT-R Nismo go head-to-head, in a battle of the sports cars from across continents, and the guys look at whether a Mercedes-Benz X250d or Ford Ranger Wildtrak is a better fit for a loyal Mercedes-Benz buyer towing a horse float.

“CarAdvice” airs every Wednesday at 7:30pm AEDT on free-to-air channel 95 and Foxtel channel 601.
