2014-15 Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte recalled

A total of 84 petrol-powered Italian sedans have been called back to the dealership over a risk of engine fires.

Maserati has recalled a handful of 2014-15 Ghibli and Quattroporte models over concerns about an issue with the fuel lines.

According to the company, some petrol-powered vehicles may be fitted with fuel lines damaged during the manufacturing process, creating a risk of fuel leaks.

If the issue occurs, the engine could catch fire.

A total of 84 vehicles are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Maserati will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to get in touch with their nearest dealership to arrange a free fix.
