2020 Porsche 911 Turbo leaked?

Could this be the new Porsche 911 Turbo? With an extendable spoiler, fat haunches and mean diffuser, it certainly looks like a 911 Turbo.

The new Porsche 911 is barely three months old, but already the top-end variants are starting to appear on the internet. We've seen spy photos of cars wearing big wings, camouflaged prototypes and now what appears to be an undisguised 911 Turbo on Instagram. Hmmm.

It's obviously not an official Porsche picture, but all the hallmarks of a 911 Turbo are present and correct in the leaked images, posted on Instagram by user t_schleicher.

There are air intakes on the the rear haunches, a compact extendable spoiler, a pumped-up rear bumper and a more aggressive diffuser, all of which are hallmarks of the 911 Turbo formula.

The car also rides on big alloy wheels with a design echoing those of the current Turbo and Turbo S. If it walks like duck, and all that...

There's no word on how much power the new Turbo will make when it launches, but expect it to usurp the 427kW and 750Nm offered by the current Turbo S. It'll be all-wheel drive, and is like to offer the full suite of active Porsche chassis systems, including dynamic dampers, active engine mounts and torque vectoring.

We don't have any indication of when the 992-generation 911 Turbo is set to launch, but given how ready it looks, the Geneva motor show next month isn't out of the question. Stay tuned.
