The new Bentley Bentayga Speed has been unveiled ahead of its in-the-flesh debut at the 2019 Geneva motor show, which kicks off at the beginning of March.
Under the bonnet, there's a version of the company's 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine tuned to deliver 467kW of power and 900Nm of torque.
Coupled to the standard all-wheel drive system, firmer suspension, an electronic differential lock, and eight-speed automatic transmission, the Bentayga Speed is capable of blasting through the 0-100km/h standard in 3.9 seconds, and hitting a top speed of 309km/h.
Compared to the regular W12 Bentayga, the new Speed variant has 20kW extra to help it shave 0.2 seconds off its 0-100km/h time, as well as achieve a 5km/h higher top speed.
Styling changes include dark-tinted head- and tail-lights, a darker grille finish, body colour lower body parts, and a rear spoiler. The car rides on 22-inch alloy wheels available in either silver, dark tint or black finishes.
The interior features contrast stitching on the diamond quilting, fake suede trim, Speed embroidery and badging, and new colour "swooshes" on the door panels, lower console and seat edges.
Available options include 22-way adjustable front seats, interior mood lighting, carbon-fibre dashboard inserts, an entertainment package for rear seat, and carbon ceramic brakes capable of generating 6000Nm of braking torque.
The Bentayga Speed will make its debut in Geneva, with global deliveries slated to start at the end of 2019.
The Bentley Bentayga Speed will be arriving in Australia during October, priced from $481,400 before on-road costs.
