2019 Audi TT RS revealed, here Q4 2019

Mildy refreshed performance coupe and roadster duo debut with more 'masculine' looks, new colours and upgraded infotainment. An Australian launch is still to be confirmed, but expect it to hit local showrooms by the end of the year.

Audi Sport has revealed the refreshed TT RS range, sporting a subtle design update and new personalisation options.

Scheduled to go on sale in Europe from February 7, the TT RS coupe and roadster both benefit from minor design changes front and rear, the option of Matrix LED headlights and OLED tail-lights, along with a new optional RS design package that adds a splash of colour to the interior.

Speaking of colours, there's three new exterior colours – Kyalami Green (exclusive to RS models), Turbo Blue (pictured) and Pulse Orange.

As before the contrasting accents in the front bumper insert and rear wing can be optioned in gloss black or matte aluminium.

The rear wing has also seen changes for 2019, "with side winglets that catches the eye".

Inside, changes continue to be minimal. There's still RS sports seats finished as standard in Alcantara or optionally in nappa leather, while the 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit display sits ahead of the driver.

Other available features in Europe are the company's MMI navigation plus infotainment system with the MMI touch pad, along with a 680W Bang & Olufsen sound system.

New for 2019 is the RS design package, which adds red or blue highlights to the air vents, seat belts and RS floor mats. There's also extended elements on the seats and centre console.

Power comes from the same 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder petrol engine as the outgoing model, developing 294kW of power and 480Nm of torque.

That grunt is sent to Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system via a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic, with 0-100km/h claimed to take just 3.7 seconds (coupe).

Top speed, meanwhile, is electronically governed at 250km/h, though it can be optioned to spin all the way to 280km/h.

Sales in Europe are scheduled to commence on February 7, with prices starting at €67,700 ($107,688.72) for the coupe, and €70,500 ($112,142.61) for the roadster.

Australia

Speaking with CarAdvice Audi's local division confirmed the updated TT RS will arrive during the fourth quarter of 2019.
