Abarth 595, 124 Spider 70th Anniversary editions unveiled in Europe

All 2019 models to feature 70th Anniversary badging, with some models gaining improved infotainment systems.

Abarth is marking its 70th birthday, at least in Europe, with special badging standard across the entire range.

At the launch event at the Monte Carlo rally, the company said these badges will make all vehicles registered this year "unique and exclusive".

As far as the 124 Spider goes, the specially-designed badge seems to be the only change of note.

For the 595, the Competizione variant also gains Fiat's 7.0-inch Uconnect infotainment system with Abarth telemetry, while the Turismo model now has a 7.0-inch system with built-in satellite navigation.

Australia

We're waiting to hear back from Fiat Chrysler Australia about whether Abarth vehicles coming Down Under this year will be branded as 70th Anniversary models.
