2012-18 Bentley Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed recalled

Even the ultra-luxe marques have recalls to issue, as it turns out

Bentley Australia has recalled the 2012-2018 Mulsanne and Mulsanne Speed, over concerns about the rear seat belt buckle anchoages.

According to the company, the anchorages mightn't fulfil their load requirements if both the central and outboard rear seats are occupied. If an accident occurs, there's a risk the seatbelt will detach from the body structure, increasing the risk of injury.

A total of 28 cars sold between November 19, 2012 and April 15, 2018 are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.

Bentley is calling for its customers to contact their nearest dealer to arrange a free fix.
