Volvo Australia axes V40 and S90, V90 'on the backburner'

Volvo Australia has quietly dropped the V40 and S90 from the local line-up, and has officially said the standard V90 is "on the backburner" after being delayed several times.

Imports of the slow-selling S90 have been paused for the time being, with Bosnich indicating Volvo's local division will instead focus on the new-generation S60 and V60 that are due Down Under from the third quarter.
