9 January 2017: Kia Stinger revealed

Designed and engineered in Germany, the Stinger thoroughly redefines Kia’s brand and will serve as its new passenger flagship. The car also brings to fruition a promise made years away with the original GT concept from the 2011 Frankfurt motor show.

The Stinger has gone on to become one of the most polarising and talked-about vehicles over the last two years. Happy 2nd birthday Stinger!

7 January 2015: Lexus GS F revealed ahead of Detroit motor show

Toyota's luxury marque has revealed the look and some preliminary details about its high performance Lexus GS F sedan ahead of its unveiling at the 2015 Detroit auto show.

Under the bonnet the Lexus GS F features a 5.0-litre V8 with both Otto and Atkinson cycles. Thus equipped the motor cranks out 348kW of power and 527Nm of torque.



8 January 2014: Volvo Concept XC Coupe revealed

Set to debut at next week's Detroit auto show, the Concept XC Coupe is the second of three design studies from the Swedish manufacturer, following last year's sporty Concept Coupe.

The concept’s are all based on Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform and styled with its new design language – core elements of the brand’s future that will take the leap from show car to production car in the second-generation XC90 later this year.



9 January 2012: Volkswagen E-Bugster concept revealed

Under the bonnet lies an electric motor producing 84kW of power and 270Nm of torque. Electricity is sent from a 315kg lithium-ion battery mounted in the rear of the concept. Its full-charge range is approximately 160km.

There are no plans for the E-Bugster to go into production any time soon, but the concept showcases technology that will eventually wind up in production Volkswagen vehicles in the near future.



7 January 2011: Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe revealed in leaked images

The first official images of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have leaked onto the internet just days before the vehicle’s world premiere at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week.
