2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB spied in greater detail

High resolution photos of upcoming crossover snapped during winter testing

The new Mercedes-Benz GLB has been spied again, this time during testing in Europe's Arctic north.

Compared to earlier spy photos, this latest prototype is wearing just a little bit less camouflage. Externally, though, it doesn't really reveal much we didn't already know.

The GLB features a blocky silhouette inspired by the GL, but with rounded corners and more compact dimensions. It should prove to be the most distinctive of all the models spun off the latest A-Class' front- and all-wheel drive platform.

Thanks to the car's need to be refuelled, the photographer from our spy agency was able to snap some high resolution photos of the GLB's interior.

As was revealed earlier, the GLB's cabin leans heavily on its siblings, with the dashboard dominated by a large glassy slab housing the MBUX infotainment interface and a customisable digital instrumentation screen.

A familiar set of circular air conditioning vents, climate control switches, and a three-spoke steering wheel were left uncovered alongside the usual suite of diagnostic equipment.

The turbocharged petrol and diesel engines from other A-Class and B-Class models should be called upon for duty in the GLB.
