And it'll be revealed at the Detroit motor show in January.
Subaru is getting ready to launch a track-ready WRX STI in the USA, in the form of the S209.
At the moment, the only preview for the car is a video published by Subaru America, dubbed From Japan with Love.
It shows a heavily camouflaged WRX STI hammering around Virginia International Raceway, suggesting whatever is getting ready for release will be meaningfully different to the stock STI.

The production model will be launched on January 14, 2019, at the Detroit motor show. Stay tuned for our coverage
