2019 Audi Q7 spied in the snow

Mid-life update spotted during cold weather testing in Europe.

The updated Audi Q7 has been spied again this week, this time on the snowy roads of Europe.

While there's plenty of swirly black-and-white camouflage at the front and rear, we can see where the main changes will be made for the Q7's mid-life upgrade.

Up front there's a new front grille that's clearly inspired by the new Q8, flanked by revised headlights and new faux side intakes in the lower section of the front bumper. We reckon matrix LED headlights will be offered running a new signature as per the Q8 as well.

It appears the sides and rear will get some updates too, though this particular vehicle isn't wearing the new slimmer LED tail-lights that we saw last time, which look like they were inspired by the units used on the smaller Q5.

Other changes should include a revised rear bumper design, along with reshaped tailpipe finishers in line with the company's newer models.

We're still yet to see images of the cabin, though it's likely the updated Q7 will get a major interior overhaul incorporating Audi's new stacked dual-screen infotainment setup that has been rolled out across the A6, A7, A8 and Q8.

The Q7 prototype was spied alongside a current Q7 along with an updated SQ7 prototype.

As for powertrains, the facelifted Q7 should gain the company's revised six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines incorporating 48V mild-hybrid technology, reducing fuel consumption and emissions, while bringing a performance boost.
