2019 Skoda Fabia pricing and specs
Skoda's new supermini has been given a bit more tech for 2019.
Skoda has announced pricing and specs for the mildly-revised 2019 Fabia range, which brings with it new safety tech and the same pair of three-cylinder engines.
Two powertrains are offered in the Fabia: a 70TSI with five-speed manual, making 70kW and 160Nm, or an 81TSI with seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, making 81kW and 200Nm. Both are 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engines.
You'll pay $16,990 drive-away for the 70TSI, and $19,990 for the 81TSI. Both models are also available as a wagon, for an extra $1500 on both trim grades.
Standard kit includes autonomous emergency braking, a rear-view camera, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, netting in the boot, carpeted mats, an umbrella in the door, and roof rails on the wagon.
A trio of option packages are available from Skoda, starting with the Sports Pack ($1800). It brings a sports suspension, rear parking sensors, a flat-bottom steering wheel, tinted windows, a front armrest and cruise control.
Along with the above features, the Premium Sports Pack ($3600) adds adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, driver fatigue monitoring, DAB+ digital radio, a pair of USB ports in the rear and higher-spec climate control.
Finally the Vision Pack ($1800) adds full-LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, LED tail-lights, auto headlights and wipers, along with an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Sitting at the top of the range is the Fabia Monte Carlo, available exclusively with the 85TSI powertrain for $25,490 drive-away. Atop the basic specification, it rides on 17-inch black alloy wheels, tinted windows, sports seats and pedals, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and sports suspension.
The instrument binnacle gets a unique finish, while cruise control and a front armrest are both standard. The optional Technology Package ($1800) adds keyless entry, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, driver fatigue monitoring, DAB+ and twin USB ports in the rear.
Speccing the Vision Pack ($1400) brings full-LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic lighting and wipers, and an auto-dimming rear mirror.
