Jaguar XJ50 on sale from $222,478

50th anniversary special arrives alongside upgraded MY19 range, which enhanced equipment levels.

Jaguar Australia has announced pricing for the XJ50 special edition, available locally in four variants priced from $222,478 before on-road costs.

Commemorating five decades of Jaguar's flagship limousines, the XJ50 is available with both the 250kW 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine and 221kW 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel, along with standard- and long-wheelbase bodies.

The petrol versions of both wheelbases are priced at the aforementioned $222,478 before on-roads, while the diesel is slightly dearer at $223,090 plus ORCs.

Opting for an XJ50 brings several unique equipment items, including anodised shift paddles on the steering wheel, an embossed centre armrest and embossed headrests, 'XJ50' illuminated tread plates, 'bright metal' pedals, soft-grain diamond-quilted leather seats, along with 'Gloss Shadow Walnut' trim inserts.

The XJ50 arrives alongside the lightly upgraded MY19 XJ range, which brings enhanced specification levels over the outgoing model.

All versions of the 2019 XJ now get the 10-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, 18-way power-adjustable heated and cooled front seats, quad-zone climate control, auto high-beam, and adaptive LED headlights.

The 2019 Jaguar XJ range is on sale now.
