Audi e-tron GT concept revealed, but with camouflage on

Design for electric 'four-door coupe' looks close to production ready, with full reveal still to come.

The Audi e-tron GT concept has been revealed (sorta) before, hopefully, its full unveiling at the 2018 Los Angeles motor show this week.

In this latest tease ahead of the Los Angeles show, Audi has given us another glimpse at the concept's LED headlight design.

The company has also provided photos of the car's exterior, but with it still covered up with an eye-distracting camouflage wrap.

From we can see, the e-tron GT has a lot of familiar Audi cues, including an iteration of the brand's single-frame grille.

Compared to the A5 and A7 liftbacks, the e-tron GT seems to sit closer to the ground, and has a longer, flatter bonnet.

The frameless glass and roof line has echoes of the Porsche Taycan, which isn't too much of a surprise given Audi has already confirmed the e-tron GT is be based on the all-electric Porsche.

While the Taycan goes on sale in 2019, the production version of the e-tron GT won't start heading out of the factory gate until 2020.

The e-tron GT will have a battery pack rated at almost 100kWh, and allowing it to travel around 400km between charges. It should be able to sprint from 0-100km/h in about four seconds.

Having already launch the e-tron crossover, Audi plans to have 12 all-electric models on sale by 2025. Its EV range will stretch from small city cars to more family-friendly models.

What do you think of the e-tron GT's design?
