2019 Range Rover Evoque teased again

All-new luxury compact SUV to be revealed overnight.

Range Rover has teased the next-generation 2019 Evoque one last time, ahead of its full reveal later tonight.

The second-generation baby Rangie isn't expected to be a radical departure from the current design, though it will be heavily influenced by the larger Velar and introduce Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) latest and greatest in driver assistance technologies and infotainment systems.

With that in mind, expect the new Touch Pro Duo dual-screen infotainment system that has already rolled out across larger Range Rover models to be offered, backed by an all-digital instrument cluster, along with the latest iteration of JLR's adaptive cruise control system with stop&go, and lane-keeping technology enabling semi-autonomous highway driving.

Underneath the skin, the Evoque should ride on an updated version of the current model's D8 platform, which also serves as the basis of the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Jaguar E-Pace.

Power will likely come from a selection of four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, while a plug-in hybrid model could be on the cards too.

The new Evoque is due to be revealed at 19:45 GMT, meaning we'll get a first look at the new SUV around 07:00 AEDT tomorrow morning. Stay tuned to CarAdvice for our coverage.
