Renault boosts LCV warranty to unlimited kilometres
But it's still a three-year term, where the passenger car range gets five.
The new warranty term applies to all new vehicles sold after November 1, 2018. Although the kilometre cap has been lifted, the three-year term remains.
It applies to the compact Kangoo, the mid-size Trafic, and the large Master. The wider range maintains its five-year term, while Renault Sport vehicles are still covered by a three-year policy.
“With this unlimited kilometre warranty Renault is offering its van customers additional value, in what are already great value vehicles," said Andrew Moore, Renault Australia managing director.
“Van buyers are always looking for a vehicle to best suit their business and our van range is well positioned to respond to their needs, with business customers doing high kilometres no longer having to worry about this impacting their warranty.”
The new term puts Renault ahead of the competition from Mercedes-Benz Vans and Fiat Professional, but it still lags behind the five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty offered on the Ford Ranger and Transit.
