2019 Range Rover Evoque teased

New luxury SUV coming on November 22 previewed with a trio of artsy wire sculptures.

The next-generation Range Rover Evoque has been teased with a trio of wire sculptures around London, ahead of its debut on November 22.

Developed by the same team responsible for designing the actual car, the three sculptures offer a peek at what we can expect from Range Rover's second-generation luxury baby.

The sculptures were, naturally, parked in two of London's poshest postcodes: Kensington and Chelsea. They're finished in red, blue and copper, all of which could feature on the actual colour palette when the car launches.

Based on the wire sculptures (and the cars we've spied in the lead up to launch), the new Evoque will have styling heavily influenced by the larger Velar. That means slimline tail-lights, likely linked by a gloss black strip, and squintier headlights than currently featured.

Behind the wheel, it'll get the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system featured in the Velar and, more recently, the Jaguar I-Pace. The driver will likely be faced with a fully-digital instrument binnacle, too.

Unlike the Velar, though, it appears the Evoque will run with a conventional transmission shifter instead of a dial.

Under the skin, the new Evoque will ride on an updated take on the D8 architecture currently underpinning the Jaguar E-Pace and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Expect power to come from a selection of turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, which could also be joined by a plug-in hybrid.

Stay tuned for all the latest on the new Evoque as it's unveiled on November 22.
