Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition announced

Jaguar Australia has announced the arrival of the new limited production Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition.

Continuing Jaguar's celebrations alongside the Jaguar XKR Special Edition and Jaguar's historic return to Le Mans, just ten of these exclusive Grand Touring Coupes will be available in Australia.

The Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition is powered by a normally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine which pumps out 283kW and peak torque of 515Nm, resulting in brisk zero to 100km/h performance of just 5.5 seconds.

"Apart from being an incredibly competitive price point, the price also signifies the year in which the first Jaguar car was sold - 1935. The new XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition is a superb Grand Touring Coupe, which alongside the exciting XKR Special Edition celebrates 75 years of Jaguar, as well as the company's return to Le Mans", said Jaguar Australia's General Manager Kevin Goult.

It will be available in three exclusive exterior finishes - Indigo Blue, Ultimate Black and Liquid Silver - featuring 20-inch Kalimnos alloy wheels, chrome finish to the side Power Vents and chrome exhaust outlets.

Inside, the Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition features a "75 Years" commemorative badge and bright finish pedals on top of the usual XK features such as a Bowers & Wilkins 525-watt sound system and soft grain leather interior with contrasting stitching.

The Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition will arrive in Australian showrooms later this month with a price tag of $193,500.
