2019 Audi Q7 spied again
Latest images show new tail-lights, fresh bumpers, and revised face.
The facelifted Audi Q7 has been spied again, this time with more new elements compared to the prototype spotted a few weeks ago.
In these latest images, we can see the refreshed SUV will be getting a pretty noticeable update at the rear, with new, slimmer LED tail-lights that bear resemblance to the units worn on the smaller Q5.
Other changes include a reworked tailgate and rear bumper, while the front appears to take a more angular aesthetic similar to the related Q8 fastback SUV. Recent spy images of the high-performance SQ7 show the Q8's full-LED headlights and new daytime-running light signature will be available to the Q7, too.
We're still yet to see pictures of the updated model's cabin, though we're expecting the Q7, given its pseudo-flagship status, will benefit from the latest dual-screen infotainment setup that's being rolled out across Audi's latest models – including the A6, A7, A8, Q8, and e-tron quattro.
Additionally, the refreshed Q7 will offer the company's latest and greatest driver assistance and active safety systems, perhaps even proper semi-autonomous driving capabilities as per the A8 and Q8.
Powertrains will likely carryover, though with some revisions. It's likely a 48V mild-hybrid system will be added to the existing turbocharged petrol and diesel line-up, enhancing performance and efficiency across the range.
In terms of timing, it's believed the updated Q7 will debut in the first half of 2019, perhaps as early as the Geneva motor show in March. Should that be accurate, an Australian launch will likely be scheduled towards the tail-end of next year.
