Abarth 695 Rivale on sale from $44,990
Super-limited run of special hot hatch and cabriolet arriving in early 2019 with yacht-inspired appointments.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has confirmed the Abarth 695 Rivale will be coming to Australia in strictly limited numbers, with pricing to kick off at $44,990 before on-road costs.
Just 35 units will be delivered Down Under, available in both hatchback and cabriolet forms, all featuring a number of equipment, trim and colour appointments specific to this model inspired by Riva Yachts.
Headlining specifications include satin chrome exterior highlights, 17-inch Super Sport alloy wheels in grey, xenon headlights, Rivale badging, a wood dashboard insert, blue leather seats, and a model-specific interface for the 7.0-inch TFT driver's instrument display. Additionally, cabriolet versions get a blue soft top.
Power comes from the same 132kW 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine from the Abarth 595 Competizione, with both five-speed manual and five-speed robotised manual transmissions available.
Order books are open now, with first deliveries to commence "late in the first quarter of 2019".
