Nissan Juke, Navara recalled

There are concerns the engine could randomly turn off.

Nissan has recalled the 'D23' Navara and 'F15' Juke over concerns the engine could turn off unexpectedly.

According to company, an internal ignition switch spring may have been manufactured with a surface defect. After 'prolonged normal usage', the issue could make the engine turn off while driving. If that coincides with an accident, the airbags might not correctly fire.

A total of 2060 Navara and 14 Juke models are affected – VIN lists are attached to their respective vehicle names.

Owners will be contacted by Nissan and advised to get in touch with their nearest dealership for a free fix. Concerned owners can call 1800 035 035 for more information.
