2018 Range Rover Sport, Land Rover Discovery recalled

Autonomous emergency braking issue forces a small recall of two models.

Jaguar Land Rover has recalled the Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery, over concerns about the autonomous emergency braking system.

According to the company, AEB won't be available when required on some 2018 Range Rover Sport and Discovery models, and no warning message will be displayed on the instrument cluster. If the system doesn't activate when called upon, there's an increased risk of an accident.

Affected vehicles were sold between September 13, 2017 and May 11, 2018. A total of 27 vehicles are included – a VIN list is attached here.

JLR will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to get in touch with their nearest dealer for a free fix.
