Photographers have snapped images of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift, ahead of an anticipated reveal some time next year.
Up front are the sharper headlights with boomerang-style LED daytime-running lights akin to those on the CLS and A-Class, and a more aggressive nose featuring a more angular grille.
This particular wagon prototype doesn't appear to be wearing updated components at the rear, though we'd expect revised tail-light clusters and bumpers to feature at the back of both sedan and 'Estate' versions.
Inside, it's believed the updated E-Class will get upgraded infotainment and driver-assistance technologies – it's unclear whether MBUX will feature or not – with enhanced semi-autonomous driving abilities.
Not much else is known at this stage, though the facelifted E-Class is mooted for a production reveal sometime next year as a 2020 model.
