2019 Mitsubishi Triton teased, November unveiling confirmed
Updated ute to debut on November 9 with a facelift inspired by the related Pajero Sport, as anticipated.
Mitsubishi has released a single teaser image of the updated 2019 Triton, which will make its global debut on November 9.
While not much information is given about the refreshed ute, we can see from the image (above) the Triton will draw heavy inspiration from the related Pajero Sport off-road wagon at the front, using an interpretation of Mitsubishi's trademark 'Dynamic Shield' design language.
It also appears slimmer LED headlights and incorporated LED daytime-running lights will be offered, likely on higher-spec models. Other than that, we can't see a whole lot else.
Other anticipated upgrades include a refreshed interior, along with revised versions of the powertrain line-up – currently headlined by 133kW/430Nm 2.4-litre turbo-diesel.
Since the original Triton/L200 launched 40 years ago, Mitsubishi has produced more than 4.7 million examples globally.
