2020 Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato teased

New limited edition model is part of the design house's centenary celebrations

The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato has been teased ahead of its unveiling next year, as part of Zagato's centenary celebrations.

The new DBS GT Zagato will be based on the recently revealed DBS Superleggera, but will feature Zagato's signature double-bubble roof, an eye-catching new grille, and truncated rear end.

Deliveries of the DBS GT Zagato are expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2020.

In an unusual arrangement, the DBS GT Zagato will be sold together with the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation as the DBZ Century Collection. Pricing begins from £6 million ($10.7 million) before taxes, with just 19 pairs of cars built.

Unlike the DBS GT Zagato, the DB4 Zagato Continuation will be a track-only model built at the company's Newport Pagnell facility.

Based on the design of the original DB4 Zagato, the Continuation model features thin-guage aluminium panels fitted to a tubular frame. Compared to the original, Aston Martin promises improved panel fit thanks to "state-of-the-art digital scanning technology".

The Continuation is powered by a straight-six engine with two spark plugs per cylinder making a total of 283kW of power, which is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Customers will begin receiving their DB4 Zagato Continuation models starting in the fourth quarter of 2019.
