Around the Tracks: V12 Isuzu concept remembered, high-mileage F430

PLUS: AMG's David v Goliath, and the cutest Goodwood race you'll ever see!

When we’re not creating it ourselves, the CarAdvice team spends a lot of time finding and consuming motoring content from all over the world.

Here’s a handful of the articles, videos and social media posts that most caught our eye last week. Some of them are brand-new, others have been online for a while.

Enjoy them – just not too much, okay?

Concept Ute of the Week: Isuzu Como F1 (1991) – Karl Smith, CarDesignNews

If someone were to hand you a brief for a concept car that included a collaboration between Isuzu, General Motors, and Lotus, you might be hard pressed to imagine a positive result. After all, the three companies, from three continents, have three different corporate, motoring and design cultures.

This 157K-Mile Ferrari F430 Has Gone Through Four Clutches and 25 Sets of Spark Plugs – Brian Silvestro, Road & Track

While most Ferraris see just a few thousand miles with their first owners, this one has seen an astonishing 253,453 kilometers (or 157,488 miles). It's the highest-mileage Ferrari I've ever seen by a long-shot, yet, it seems impeccably well-kept inside and out. GTBoard.com got the chance to look around the car and asks the heroic owner some questions.

A45 v GT R: The Mercedes-AMG Acid Test – Nic Cackett, PistonHeads

As with Neckarsulm's equivalents, both models are concrete evidence of Mercedes-AMG's broader ambitions and the investment made to realise them. Question is, which is best? Or to put it another way, which one could be better said to represent the standalone brand in 2018?

The Settrington Cup is Probably the Most Adorable Part of the Goodwood Revival – Elizabeth Werth, Jalopnik

Every year when the Goodwood Revival comes around, there’s plenty to look forward to. Yeah, there are a lot of beautiful cars driven by skilled drivers—but there are also some unique challenges. Like the Settrington Cup, a pedal car race between kids ages six to nine.
