Mystery model previewed in ambiguous image ahead of weekend reveal.

Lexus has teased its "fourth flagship" today with a single image, ahead of an announcement scheduled for tomorrow.

The "luxury lifestyle brand" doesn't give much away with its accompanying press release, though it does say the following:

Luxury buyers around the world are familiar with the Lexus LS, LX, and LC. Tomorrow, the luxury lifestyle brand will announce its fourth flagship. Stay tuned.

Currently, the only Lexus model line that doesn't have an 'L' flagship is the 'T' hatchback range, solely occupied by the ageing CT line-up.

While it seems unlikely that Lexus will introduce a plusher hatchback into its line-up, it may not be a conventional 'hatch' so to speak – it could come in the form of a liftback or shooting brake.

Furthermore, it may not even be a vehicle. Lexus could instead be prepping a product for its lifestyle product line, which currently includes an array of merchandise like clothing and accessories.

Stay tuned for our coverage of the announcement tomorrow.
