VFACTS: August 2018 new vehicle sales
New vehicle sales in Australia dropped 1.5 per cent on the same month in 2017, with new registrations totalling 95,221 units. Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria all recorded increases, while the rest of the nation – led by a 9.7 per cent drop for the Northern Territory – was down.

2019 Toyota Corolla Sports Touring revealed
The next-generation Toyota Corolla wagon has been revealed ahead of an in-the-flesh debut at the Paris motor show in early October.
The new wagon rides on a 2700mm wheelbase, up 60mm from the hatch. Toyota says this increase gives the Corolla wagon "best-in-class" rear seat legroom. The company claims the wagon's boot has a VDA load space rating of 598 litres, presumably with the rear seats up.
2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class pricing and specs
Mercedes-Benz Australia has released pricing and specifications for the upgraded 2019 E-Class range, bolstered by new powertrain options and added technology.
Key changes for the new model year include the standard fitment of the Driver Assistance Package Plus across the range, adding features like enhanced traffic sign assist for the adaptive cruise control system.
2019 Subaru Forester pricing and specs
Subaru Australia has announced pricing and specifications for the all-new 2019 Forester line-up, which kicks off from $33,490 before on-road costs.
