Ferrari preparing for Targa Florio Australia Tribute

Ferrari Australia will be taking part in the upcoming Targa Florio Australia Tribute, with a special Ferrari Tributo category for the brand's cars.
The legendary Prancing Horse is promising an "incredible array of classic and modern Ferrari vehicles" on the drive, which starts in Geelong on November 28 and takes participants around the Victorian coast over the course of five days, concluding in Melbourne on December 2.
Over the course of 1100km, the Targa will roll through Geelong, Mornington, the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road, Colac Otway Shire, Phillip Island and the Yarra Valley.
As the name suggests, the event pays tribute to the actual Targa Florio, first held in Sicily more than 110 years ago. The local tribute was first run last year, across five stages through regional Victoria.

"The spectacular roads of Victoria will provide a stunning backdrop with which to illustrate our longstanding Targa Florio history and underline the affinity Australia has with Ferrari. We are excited to share this racing heritage with our Australian Ferraristi and encourage everyone to join us for the celebrations."
Although it was once equivalent to Formula 1, with the finest drivers and cars in the world going hammer-and-tongs on public roads, they're now more of a luxury lifestyle event, designed to pay tribute to glamorous races past.
Ferrari is hoping its participation will encourage owners from around Australia and Asia Pacific to put their cars on show.
