Stealth Grey example features numerous bespoke appointments for Concours d'Elegance.
McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has revealed a special 600LT for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, with a public debut scheduled for August 26.
Dubbed the '600LT in Stealth Grey by MSO', the vehicle features a number of special finishes and options from McLaren's bespoke division, though it's not like the 'standard' 600LT wasn't already exclusive.
Headlining specifications include the bespoke Stealth Grey exterior finish after which the vehicle is named, a Matte Black and McLaren Orange exterior pack designed to accent the 600LT's "aerodynamic features", and a carbon-fibre roof scoop inspired by the McLaren F1 Longtail which also incorporates a track telemetry camera.
Other features include several carbon-fibre upgrade packages with components for the mirrors, door inserts, front splitter, rear bumper, rear deck and service cover, along with a carbon-fibre roof, cantrails and fender louvres. Ultra lightweight 10-spoke alloys complete the exterior look.
Inside, MSO has added several appointments like the 'Super-Lightweight' carbon-fibre racing seats pinched from the Senna, McLaren Orange contrast stitching, carbon-fibre interior pack, a harness bar and six-point harnesses.
There's also lashings of exposed carbon-fibre on the cabin inserts, a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, bespoke '600LT' embroidery in the headrests, '600LT' etching on the accelerator pedal, and a special set of hand-painted keys.
No modifications have been made to the powertrain, meaning the 441kW/620Nm 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 remains, as do McLaren's performance claims.
The 600LT is allegedly capable of sprinting from 0-100 in just 2.9 seconds, 0-200 in 8.2 seconds, and hit a top speed of 328km/h.
Add to that the 8mm lower ride height, sticky Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres, and upgraded carbon-ceramic brake package, and you've got the makings of a serious track weapon.
