Lamborghini has released another teaser of its impending flagship, the Aventador SVJ, ahead of its reveal at Monterey Car Week later this month.
There are no new details about the SVJ in Lamborghini's latest teaser, but here's a quick rundown of what we know already. For starters, it's the quickest production car around the Nurburgring Nordschleife, having toppled the Porsche 911 GT2 RS with a 6:44.97 lap last month.
We know it'll have an active aerodynamics system dubbed 'ALA', just like the Huracan Performante, and we know it'll be powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 pumping out 567kW and 720Nm.
Keeping all that power in check is an all-new suspension setup, and optional Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres for track day enthusiasts. The unique aero package should also better stick the car to the road, as evidenced by the lightning lap around the Green Hell.
As for the name? The SV stands for Super Veloce, a badge that has been added to range-topping Lamborghinis ad-nauseam, while the J is Jota – a far rarer tag, stuck on just two cars throughout Lamborghini's history.
Stay tuned for more on the Aventador SVJ in the lead up to its launch, scheduled for Monterey Car Week later this month.
